At the outset I have to say that the hotel staff were helpful and friendly. However the "hotel" and I use the word loosely is very poor. It is extremely tired in every aspect and is in great need of a complete makeover. I believed this is planned for this Winter. The carpets are worn and damaged throughout. The lift was not working and if like us you were on the top floor and had a heavy case this was a safety hazard. Although the sheets had been cleaned you could still see evidence of mildew. The breakfast was open from 7am and we visited at 9 am. The breakfast was very dried up when we sampled it.  On the plus side the room had a great sea view. Needless to say we will not be visiting again.

Staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean. It’s a great little hotel on the seafront and within walking distance of the local amenities and attractions. Unfortunately, and it’s the same everywhere, needs a little updating and fresh paint/carpets. Scaffolding on the outside, I’m guessing roof issues. Maybe they are updating, starting at the top lol. Overall a very pleasant stay and we will probably stay again next year 👍

Needed a bed for the night clean bedding, good full English breakfast but basic bathroom, fine for over night travel break.

Fantastic location. It was easy to park and we had a fabulous seaview. Breakfast was pretty good.

It was a pleasure using the hotel. They were updating/refreshing the the building by decorating which I took as a positive. Being in the trade winter is the best and only time to be able to carry out the work with the lest disruption to guests and not possible at peek times (summertime)

Reasonable price. But they gave me single room although i booked twin bed room. Original room had problem with light in bath room. So, i expected the same or similar size but they didn't. Additionally, floor of hallway and the room looked dirty.
